No place to keep anymore dead bodies in MR Bangur Hospital, Kolkata in end April 2020

The morgue at MR Bangur Hospital (owned by Government of West Bengal) located on Deshpran Sasmal Road, opposite Tollygunge Club in Kolkata, is full of dead bodies as in end April 2020. The hospital authorities have formally written to Jadavpur PS to do something about it. The letter has gone viral on social media.
The cause for death amongst the number of dead bodies piled up in the hospital due to Covid-19 is reportedly 6 only.
The state is known to be fudging all data pertaining to Covid19. The number of random tests on high risk groups is the least in the state. The facts are already there in the public domain.

Police thrashed by muscleman mob in Tikiapara, Howrah on 2020-04-28 was a 'Choto Ghotona' (insignificant incident)

Thank god, there was mobile with cameras. Somebody clicked videos of police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) getting thrashed by 'milch cows' who are 'shanti ka doot' in Tikiapara, Howrah on Tuesday, 2020-04-28 and made it viral.
Therefore, it was not a Sajano Ghotona (concocted story).
In a press conference on Wednesday, 2020-04-29, SHE has given her verdict.
The whole incident, according to her was a Choto Ghotona (insignificant incident)!
Have you seen the video of the Choto Ghotona (insignificant incident) of police personnel being chased and thrashed by HER milch cows in Tikiapara, Howrah.

Police deployed to enforce lockdown were assaulted in Tikiapara in Howrah by the 'muscleman' community on 2020-04-28

The cops were deployed to enforce lockdown in Tikiapara in Howrah, West Bengal only after the community spread of Covid-19 by the appeased community had gone out of control.
On Tuesday, 2020-04-28 the 'Shanti Ka Doot' illiterate Muscleman blatantly assaulted the police when they went to enforce the lockdown in Tikiapara.
Milch cows don't spare common citizens.
Milch cows don't spare police who are working for us tirelessly.
Does anybody feel that the same people who raised them on a high pedestal will be spared?

No beds for isolation and/ or Corona-positive patients in private hospitals in Kolkata in end April 2020

If anyone tests Coronavirus/ Covid19 positive as in end April 2020 in Kolkata city, the aftermath can be scary.
There are no beds available in any of the private hospitals in the city.
The condition of the wards in government hospitals are pathetic.
Ever since TMC came to power in West Bengal in mid 2011, hundreds of crores of rupees have been spent on external cosmetic beautification of the government owned hospitals, viz. painting and repainting the buildings blue and white, constructing multiple numbers of huge concrete gates in every hospital and a couple of buildings, a couple of medical equipments here and there.
Hear the experience of HER favorite TV channel (ABP Bangla) anchor while trying to admit a colleague's 64 yrs old other on April 25 and 26, 2020 who was tested Covid-positive.
If this is the situation in Kolkata, imagine what the situation would be in the districts of West Bengal which has a huge population density.

Jagatsukh Industries donate disinfectant sprayer machine to Ludhiana Municipal Corporation

Ludhiana industrialist lends indigenously designed machine that’s now disinfecting the city 24×7 from Coronavirus.
.
.
A Ludhiana-based industrialist has come to the rescue of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation amid the COVID-19 outbreak by lending them an aero-blast spray machine which is being used to disinfect the city.
Sukhpal Vir Singh Passi, owner of Jagatsukh Industries, handed over the 'Charlie Tornado', which is worth Rs 7.5 lakh, to the cash-strapped Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC). The machine was originally meant to be supplied to a Uganda-based customer, but the industrialist donated it to the civic body instead and pushed back the customer's order.
On Saturday, 2020-04-25 night, the municipal corporation initiated a 24x7 fumigation drive. Residents were surprised to see the machine moving along city roads, spraying sodium hypochlorite mixed with water.
According to guidelines issued by the National Centre for Disease Control, a body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, for environmental cleaning during COVID-19 outbreak, test carried out using SARS-CoV showed that sodium hypochlorite is effective.
It is an aero-blast spray machine generally used in orchards. This model, 'Charlie Tornado' has been modified by the company for the municipal corporation. The company exports these machines to African and European countries. Seeing the need of the hour, it was more important to use it in India first. It has a capacity of around 1,500 litres and covers 6-8 km an hour. Since Saturday night, it is working continuously on streets of Ludhiana and there hasn't been any issue yet. The company has informed its customer in Uganda to wait. Jagatsukh Industries haven't charged the civic body anything for it.
There are fans installed at the back of machine which rotates and creates a spray blast. As it moves on roads, it leaves a fountain of spray, so that the chemical reaches far and wide.
Almost 6,000 litres of solution was sprayed in parts of Zone-A, from Phullanwal Chowk to Mata Rani Chowk, and on Sunday, 2020-04-26 the drive continued in Zone-D. The plan is to cover the entire city by working 24x7 for 2-3 days. The civic body has used this chemical only after research and several studies say it is effective against coronavirus.
On Sunday, 2020-04-26 the machine sprayed nearly 15,000 litres of solution in Zone-D areas. More will be sprayed in coming days. Jagatsukh Industries donated the machine while the civic body procured the chemical and tractor.
In the absence of this joint venture Ludhiana Municipal Corporation couldn't have covered the entire city in such a short time.
Ludhiana Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu has confirmed that 200 small hand-held machines are also being procured for councilors to fumigate their own wards with this chemical.

20 yrs old Porsche driver in Indore out for a spin amid lockdown made to do sit-ups

A young man's joyride in an expensive Porsche convertible car amid the coronavirus lockdown in Indore did not end well in end April 2020. The 20-year-old driver had been cruising in the yellow two-seater car on the open roads, which are free of traffic due to the lockdown, when some members of the city's security council spotted him. The city security council has retired personnel from the Army, paramilitary and the police as volunteers who are attached with police stations across Indore.
The council members flagged down the car and asked the driver why he was out on the road amid the lockdown. The man is seen without a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a mobile phone video, the driver, who has been identified as the son of Indore businessman Deepak Daryani, is seen getting out of the car, vehicle papers in his hands, and speaking with the council members.
Then a council member in a black uniform holding a stick orders the driver to do sit-ups. He is seen holding his ears as he obeys the security person.
The young man's family said he has a curfew pass and driving license, but the city security council officials allegedly misbehaved with him.
The youngster's father, Mr Daryani, is the owner of Asha Confectionery in Indore. Sources said he has filed a complaint with the police against the civilians for enforcing traffic law and punishing his son.

Mamata fudging Covid-19 data in Bengal (005) - says faulty Covid-19 testing kits from the center was the cause of low test figures

Since the IMCT’s arrival, West Bengal appears to be reporting more cases of Covid-19.
For instance, according to the health bulletin issued 17 April, 2020 the total number of active cases was 162. On 20 April, the figure was 245, a rise just under than 100. Four days later, on 24 April, the state reported 385 active cases, an increase of 140.
Testing has also picked up. While 4,212 samples had been tested by 17 April, the number was 5,469 by 20 April and 8,933 by 24 April. The average per-day testing figures have shot up to 943 from 240.
Addressing the media on Thursday, 2020-04-23  Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee weighed in on the discrepancy. She said the central government was either sending faulty kits or withdrawing the ones sent, adding that testing had picked up because the state was procuring kits on its own.
The IMCT’s letters Friday also raise questions about the state’s testing and reporting patterns, besides some “infrastructural issues” at local hospitals.
However, the Trinamool Congress sought to defend its handling of the crisis.
“The problem surfaced here as the Centre sent us all faulty kits. We could not conduct the required number of tests as we did not have kits,” Santanu Sen, a Trinamool Congress MP and former member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) said.

Horror tales of a family in Howrah during lockdown with the chilling episode starting on 2020-04-17

The tales of the family in Howrah, just across the Hooghly River from Kolkata is a chilling eye-opener of the personal whims of an inspirer and the zero governance prevailing in West Bengal.
Quarantined people in West Bengal are vanishing, the hospitalized are untraceable, healthy people are dying after being sent to hospital, cause of death are being falsely noted, dead bodies are being cremated without informing the near and dear ones.
Nevertheless, a whole bunch of chappal-licking opportunistic people are mighty impressed at how Bengal is fooling (not fighting) around with the deadly Coronavirus 😡
It's only if the same fate strikes the very very dear ones of the sycophants will they scream and howl because of their follies and the short term selfish gains.

Liquor being transported from Government of WB godowns in North 24 Parganas district in April 2020 during the nationwide lockdown

Nationwide lockdown is in force. Sale of liquor is strictly banned throughout India.
However, mini trucks were filmed by Bengal Live with secret cameras on 2020-04-21. The mini trucks were spotted openly flaunting the rules during daytime and transporting loads of liquor from godowns owned/ licensed by Government of West Bengal to Barasat, Madhyamgram and elsewhere in North 24 Parganas district.
The drivers being interviewed are clearly heard saying that they are not at all scared because they enjoyed the protection of West Bengal Police.
Localites say that police officials from Habra PS had visited the godown after it reopened around mid-April 2020 but did precious little to stop the illegal activities.
This is how West Bengal is fighting Coronavirus, while law abiding citizens are holed up at home spending uncertain weeks at a stretch.
Wondering who inspires such governance with elan 🤔.

With 150 containment zones, Kolkata becomes West Bengal's Covid-19 epicentre

With 150 containment zones, Kolkata is now emerging as the epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak in the state of West Bengal.

With 80 per cent of the new cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal being reported from Kolkata and adjoining areas, the city continues to emerge as the epicentre of the outbreak in West Bengal. To contain the outbreak, 150 areas in the capital city have been classified as containment zones by Kolkata's civic body.
West Bengal on Thursday recorded its biggest single-day spike with 58 new confirmed Covid-19 cases coming to light from across the state, a majority of them from Kolkata. At 953, the state also conducted its highest number of tests in a single day on April 23, 2020.
Chief Secretary Rajiva Sinha said that the total active Covid-19 cases in the state are now 334. The death toll remains static at 15 with no fresh deaths reported across the state in recent days.
"In North 24 Parganas and Howrah, we have managed to contain the situation majorly but Kolkata remains a challenge. We are taking all possible measures so that there is no further spread. We are contemplating special measures for Kolkata," West Bengal Chief Secretary Rajiva Sinha told media outlets on Thursday. Sinha added that Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) alone has about 150 containment zones. Howrah has 60-70 such zones while North 24 Parganas has 40 areas that have been classified as hotspots or containment zones.
West Bengal Chief Secretary Rajiva Sinha said, "There is a major concern around asymptomatic patients. It is difficult to identify them. Across the country, more than 70 per cent cases are asymptomatic. If the lockdown is withdrawn on May 4, then it will be a big challenge. With symptomatic patients, we are tracking them through mobile app, frontline healthcare workers and surveillance. It is difficult to track who is getting infected by whom."

Mamata Banerjee summons Prashant Kishor for guidance on tackling Modi govt's moves during lockdown

In what has been seen as a crisis management move, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee summoned poll strategist Prashant Kishor to help her counter BJP's criticism of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government's alleged mismanagement of the Covid-19 crisis in the state.
Prashant Kishor, who had been cooling off his heels in Delhi after his public outreach campaign in West Bengal, 'Banglar Garbo Mamata', went on a freezer following the lockdown, reached the state in a cargo flight. He reached Kolkata around the same time as the Inter-Ministerial Central teams (IMCT) sent by the Modi government arrived in Kolkata to inspect how the lockdown is being implemented in the state.
Prashant Kishor rushed from Delhi after an SOS message from TMC MP and Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee.
According to party sources, Abhishek was burning the midnight oil in his office, a stone's throw away from Mamata Banerjee's residence, to welcome Prashant Kishor and make some planning in advance for briefing the chief minister in the morning.
Prashant Kishor will supervise the counter-offensive campaign to take on the saffron onslaught on social media and in media channels, which have been raving against Mamata Banerjee for allegedly failing to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
For more than a fortnight the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been accusing Mamata Banerjee of faltering in tackling Covid-19.
While the BJP IT cell went puncturing holes in the seemingly all-well and under-control picture Mamata projected, BJP big shots were vocal against the West Bengal government for not carrying out sufficient tests (which is 66 per million in Bengal as against the national average of 198 per million) and suppressing facts about Covid-19 deaths and active patients.
Fingers were also being raised against the ruling TMC leaders for using the PDS to practice dole politics among party supporters.
Social media pages started shooting off videos and stories of how the Bengal chief minister allowed dilution of lockdown norms in Muslim-dominated areas and how Tablighi Jamaat returnees were being shielded without being quarantined at the cost of putting the entire population of Bengal under risk.
Moreover, ministers like Babul Supriyo, MP Swapan Dasgupta, BJP state president Dilip Ghosh took turns to bombard Mamata Banerjee and her government for messing up the situation in Bengal by being slack on rules and not being transparent about the overall health scenario.
As against this, a section of doctors and health workers in their individual capacity went all out to show the true picture of the health sector: doctors having to fight Covid-19 without adequate kits, PPE, masks and gloves.
Doctors and frontline warriors of renowned city hospitals shared on social media how the entire medical fraternity, on the one hand, was being exposed to coronavirus in the absence of sufficient safety gears. They alleged they were being forced to work against medical ethics by withholding the causes of death from a patient party and in the general public even though they were writing death certificates.
Mamata Banerjee had constituted a five-member committee comprising bureaucrats and doctors, close to the government, to take a call on the Covid-19 deaths and make them public in the health bulletin.
With such attacks and lampooning going on from all end, Mamata Banerjee seemed to be losing her cool.
Criticisms apart, the pressure was mounting on her as national and international media started rolling some of these stories and Ministry of Home Affairs under Amit Shah kept the heat on by sending central government teams to keep a hawk's eye on her movements and the activities of her administration.
People were beginning to see reflections of a jittery and irritable Mamata Banerjee, running out of patience, composure and reserve, like in June 2019 when BJP won big in the Lok Sabha elections and the Jai Shriram shouting brigade left her unnerved.
It was in one of those trying times that Prashant Kishor was summoned to help and guide Mamata Banerjee to tide over the crisis: a muscle-flexing the BJP getting too close for comfort and stop the BJP from poaching into TMC.
For the moment, the crisis was avoided and Mamata let her hair down, allowing PK to give the party and its leaders an image makeover in corporate style and bring a change of perception for Bengal under Mamata Banerjee.
This time too, Prashant Kishor had been rushed in to take charge of TMC's social media platform so that it can retort back and counter the charges being fired at from all quarters.
With less than a year left for the 2021 assembly election, Mamata Banerjee cannot possibly afford to lose the ground at this juncture.
Failing to tackle a health emergency will be a big blot on her political and administrative career and when she's all set to seek a mandate for a third consecutive term, she cannot fumble and falter.

Mamata fudging Covid-19 data in Bengal (004) - Sudipta Mukherjee was declared dead b'cos of Hepatitis B instead of Coronavirus

The death figures in West Bengal have been called into question by a number of people from medical fraternity.
Many doctors are scared of identifying themselves in fear of retribution from state machinery but there are some like Dr. Pratim Sengupta (Nephrologist in Belle Vue Clinic) who have raised a stink. Corroborating the nephrologist’s charges, Dr Archana Majumdar has been quoted as saying in a Sunday Guardian report that the state is hiding the real figures of death. “Let me cite one example. It happened this week at one of the hospitals. A patient, named Sudipta Mukherjee, got admitted and eventually died around 10.04 hours. She was 43 years old and her body was sent out of the hospital as a Hepatitis B case.”

Deadbodies of Coronavirus patients in West Bengal being disposed off on the sly without informing the dear ones

Bodies of people dying of Coronavirus in government hospitals in West Bengal are being disposed off on the sly without even informing his/ her relatives.
This has been continuing ever since March 2020.
This video is supposedly what the dear one of a deceased had to go through at the only state government owned Infectious Diseases (I.D) Hospital in Kolkata in the third week of April 2020. Although the gentleman had instructed in writing that he will accompany the body for cremation, the corpse had already been taken away on the sly before his arrival.

The reality at a male isolation ward at MR Bangur Hospital, Kolkata for Coronavirus suspected patients

Ufff!!!! The inspiration of one 'manoniya' (Her Highness) is doing wonders to banish Coronavirus/ Covid19 from West Bengal.
Chappal-licking 'buddhijivis' (fake intellectuals) are mighty impressed. They are flooding the social media penning all the good words about HER while anticipating the arrival of bright and sunny days!

Here's the reality in Bengal,
* No tests = No Covid19 affected people.
* Hardly any deaths/ very low deceased = Dispose off the dead bodies on the sly.
* Some deaths = Death due to breathing problems following over exertion after frequent travelling from bedroom to kitchen to balcony to another bedroom to washroom to bedroom.
The video = 'sajano ghotona' (concocted story) by a steel plate clinging 'gau mutra drinker' 😡

The opportunistic 'buddhijivis' be damned (literally)!

What you see is the reality in West Bengal in mid-April 2020. That's the state of affairs in isolation wards at MR Bangur Hospital on Deshpran Sashmal Road, opposite Tollygunj Club in south Kolkata for Covid-19 suspects in this wasted state 😱

You are indeed the 'Greatest Gift Of God To Bengali Mankind' or should I say 'Greatest Gift Of God To Mankind'!

Mamata's letter dated 2020-04-20 to Modiji opposing the two central teams sent to monitor Coronavirus work in Bengal

Callousness to curb the spread of Coronavirus/ Covid19 is at its highest in West Bengal and needless to say that everything in the state works on the inspiration of one single lady.
Government of India has sent two teams to monitor the situation in the state but the lady is mighty displeased.
She has expressed her displeasure by writing a three page letter to the Prime Minister.
Read the letter.
Every right thinking individual in the Nation is left wondering why she is behaving so weird.
What could be hidden agenda?
Whom is she working for?
Whom is she trying to shield?

Semblance of return to normalcy. Kerala set to open restaurants, start odd-even for cars

Kerala set to open restaurants, start odd-even for cars
.
.
From Monday, 2020-04-20 onwards, a semblance of normalcy will return to at least seven of Kerala’s 14 districts as restaurants will open and a limited number of private vehicles under the odd-even scheme be allowed to ply.

As the 21-day national lockdown was drawing to a close, the state government had submitted a proposal to the Centre that divided Kerala into four zones — Red, Orange A, Orange B and Green — and restrictions eased in three of these zones in a phased manner. There will be no easing up in the red zone.

The Centre accepted Kerala’s proposal on Friday, 2020-04-17. For the past seven days, the number of positive cases in the state was confined to single digit and the recovery rate has climbed steadily.

From Monday, near-normal life will be back in two districts, viz. Kottayam and Idukki. Both have been classified as green zones because they currently have no active cases.
Several restrictions will be lifted in Orange B zone districts, viz. Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Thrissur, Palakkad and Wayanad, too from Monday.

Dine-in restaurants can function during normal hours in Kottayam and Idukki while in Orange B districts, restaurants can function from 7 am to 7 pm but they have to ensure social distancing norms and hand sanitisers. All those who step out of their homes have been advised to wear masks.

Vehicles with odd numbers will be permitted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, whereas vehicles with even numbers will be allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; only critical services and emergency operations would be exempt. Women drivers travelling solo or with dependents are exempted from this restriction. Two passengers can travel in the back seat while for two wheelers pillion-riding is allowed only for a family member.
In Ernakulam, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts, classified as Orange A zones, relaxation for restaurants will come into effect from April 24. Restaurant takeaways will be available till 8 pm. In the green zone districts, other commercial establishments, like textile shops, will be allowed to function.

Some of the other relaxations include grocery shops opening daily from 7 am to 5 pm and registered plumbers and electricians being allowed to work. Insurance companies, cooperative credit societies and recognised non-banking finance corporations will also be allowed to function with limited staff, while banks and government offices will work normal hours. Some businesses, like opticians, mobile phone shops, computers and accessories, auto workshops, barbershops and bookstores, will be permitted to open twice a week. The dates for these, too, will be April 20 or April 24, depending on the colour zone.
State chief Secretary Tom Jose said the state had discussed the zone-wise lockout plan with the Union home and health ministries. "We could convince them that minor modifications in the relaxations granted by the Centre within the broad guideline are required considering the peculiar demography and situation here. Our request had force because of our proper implementation of all earlier guidelines which yielded good results," Tom Jose told TOI.
All places of worship and schools, colleges and shopping malls will remain closed across the state till May 3. So too will inter-district travel and Kochi Metro services.

Indo - Bangladesh border opened up for 30 mins on 2020-04-04 for export of jute seeds

Why and how was the Indo - Bangladesh surface (road) transport border in Coochbehar district of West Bengal opened up during the lockdown on 2020-04-04 for only 30 minutes for export of jute seeds to Bangladesh in truckloads?
For the uninitiated, Bangladesh has very high incidence of Covid19 outbreak. Will the authorities own responsibility of their own follies if Indian truck drivers get infected during the course  of their drive and unloading in Bangladesh?

Rush for liquor at Phoolbagan, Kolkata at the beginning of the lockdown

Priorities have gone for a toss in West Bengal.
'Stay At Home' and 'Social Distancing' to curb the spread of Coronavirus/ Covid19 during the nationwide lockdown in March - April 2020 holds no meaning.
Watch how people have queued up for liquor (IMFL), opposite BC Roy Paediatric Hospital, on the road leading from Phoolbagan crossing towards Rajabazar in Kolkata.
Nothing better can be expected in West Bengal where tests and numbers of affected people (including the number of deaths) are decided not by doctors, but by bureaucrats who work only on the 'inspiration' of their one and only political boss.

Tablighi Jamaat inmates demand buffalo biryani at Agra quarantine centre

Even as more and more Tablighi Jamaat attendees join their fellow Islamic preachers at the Agra centre in Uttar Pradesh every day, the list of their weird demands lengthens too. These 89 patients and suspected carriers of the Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at the Madhu Resort in Sikandra space, Agra, have now demanded they be served beef-biryani.
Patients from the Tablighi Jamaat at the quarantine centre have refused to accept food that is served to other patients. They have warned if they are not served buffalo biryani, they will force their way out of quarantine before 14 days are over.
Doctors say, by starving, these patients will only end of prolonging their illness.
The doctors finally had to call the police to intervene. The Tablighis told the police, “What kind of food is this? There is no salt, no chilli in it. We will not eat such bland food. Bring us buffalo biryani. We will not take any medicine either nor will we take any injection. We are completely healthy. It is a conspiracy to lock us up here.”
The police could not end their non-cooperation.
On the condition of anonymity, the doctors said that no Tablighi was following social distancing. “There are separate beds for everyone. They are gathering at one place and performing namāz,” a doctor said.
Doctors said that every Tablighi could offer namāzby staying close to his bed. “Or you can keep enough distance from one another to do this. But they are not ready to accept this rule,” another doctor said.
The doctors treating the Tablighi group are perhaps more upset by the attitude of these patients at the quarantine centre in Agra than how much the rest of the country is angered by their bioterrorism.

The pandemic has been spreading faster across the country in the last three days, thanks to the stupid or deliberate assembly of thousands of members of the Tablighi Jamaat — both Indian and foreign — at the Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi, who spread out across the country after the meeting. The number of patients is increasing 10 times every passing day.

Jagannath Flower Market opened up on 2020-04-09 on the instructions of Mamata Banerjee in spite of the lockdown

CM, Mamata Banerjee has announced Jagannath Flower Market in Howrah (adjacent to Kolkata), West Bengal to be 'out of purview' of the mandatory lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
The crowd at the market on 2020-04-09 was outright scary.

Why was this decision taken to open up the market?

Right thinking citizens have started expressing total displeasure. If the buzz gets a bit too loud and the number of Covid19 affected people increases exponentially, the order will be withdrawn and hundreds of bootlicking newspapers and TV Channels 'born on the footpath' will jump to the fray to shield her and the authorities will claim that no orders were passed at all.
