Election Commission writes to WB Chief Secretary seeking clarification on Firhad Hakim

Election Commission wrote to West Bengal Chief Secretary, Rajiva Sinha on 2020-07-01 seeking clarification on the role of Firhad Hakim (Bobby), ex-Mayor, Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Firhad is an MLA from the Kolkata Port area and is a minister in the Mamata Banerjee government.
On 2020-05-08, he has been appointed the Administrator of KMC. The EC also wants to know if the newly formed post for Firhad Hakim is for any personal profit.
