Suhrawardy Avenue, Kolkata 700017 (named after a butcher behind the infamous Great Calcutta Killings) has been renamed Gopal Mukherjee Road in June 2026.
The qualified uneducated deshdrohi commies are mighty unhappy. They are citing the name of the butcher's relative who supposedly was a highly erudite person as the actual Suhrawardy.
They are even citing name of a commie historian who is said to have documented the naming of the road years ago.
