Modiji played football with children in Gangtok on 2026-04-28 morning

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a break from hectic campaigning in intense heat and humidity for the West Bengal Assembly Election and arrived in Gangtok on Monday 2026-04-27 for the closing ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Sikkim's statehood.

On Tuesday 2026-04-28 morning he changed to track suit and spiked shoes and played football with school going youngsters. He scored a goal, too.
