Truck carrying 26 smuggled cows intercepted in Dhule district in Maharashtra

Pranin Foundation, Darbar Chowkdi, Vadodara is an NGO engaged in diligently protecting animals. 

On Saturday 2025-03-29 at around 4 am, members of Pranin Foundation in Maharashtra managed to intercept a 10 wheel truck near Nandane village after tip off. Twenty six desi Gir breed cows were rescued after a dramatic chase in pitch darkness. Cow smugglers Asif Wireman and Shafiq Tata were smuggling the cows for slaughter. The truck driver and his helper managed to flee after the tyres burst. FIR has been lodged at Songir Police Station, Dhule district. 

Incomplete video of the chase has gone viral. Most of the videos end abruptly and don't show the cows being transported in the truck. The captions in those videos are projecting the NGO members as criminals/ highway robbers.

The Supreme Court of India on 2025-04-03 gave its verdict to cancel the job of all 26,000 odd school teachers in WB, most of whom were ineligible but were awarded appointment letters and postings after payment of whopping sums of money in 2016-17. Every teacher who got his/ her appointment after greasing the palms of TMC leaders were naturally diehard TMC apologists. 

It was she who promoted corruption with the help of education minister Partha Chatterjee and gang and they are already rotting in jail since the past 30+ months.
