In a controversial speech in Islamabad in April 2025, Pakistan chief of army General Asim Munir reignited the divisive anti-india rhetoric saying that Pakistani are different from Hindus in every aspect of life. Addressing a convention of overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad, the man emphasized the ideological basis of creation of Pakistan. He stressed the importance of instilling the two Nation theory in future generations.
