A Human Chain was formed on Thursday 2024-08-29 by employees of CMRI, BM Birla Heart Research Centre, Kothari Medical Centre, WOODLANDS Hospital in Alipore, Kolkata to protest the macabre crime which took place at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.
Thank you Kolkatans. Keep this momentum on and keep protesting till Abhaya (masked name), the 31 yrs old lady doctor who was ra*p*ed and mur*de*red at her workplace on the intervening night of 9th and 10th August 2024 gets justice.
The peaceful protest did not hamper traffic movement, neither did it inconvenience anyone.
