Women too queued up at liquor shops in New Delhi on 2020-05-07


Women in Budh Vihar, New Delhi were spotted queued up for liquor at liquor shops on 2020-05-07 (during Lockdown 3.0) while maintaining social distancing norms to avoid possibilities of getting infected by Covid-19.
It's very unusual in India to see women queueing up outside liquor shops in cities in India. They cited lame reasons for lining up while claiming that their menfolk were at home.

People bought multiple number of bottles of liquor after sales resumed on 2020-05-04, the first day of lockdown 3.0


People bought multiple number of bottles of liquor at a premium of 70% on the MRP in Delhi (for own consumption and also for resale) after liquor shops resumed business on the first day of lockdown 3.0 during the Covid-19 pandemic on 2020-05-04.
The scene was almost the same everywhere across India.
