Ladies in Baranagar in North Kolkata resisted people queueing up and jostling for liquor on Monday, 2020-05-04, the first day after easing lockdown norms against Covid-19.

They were ready to beat up the unruly crowd who threw caution to wind and maintained no social/ physical distancing norms for Covid19.

People jostling for liquor flouting all caution against Covid19 in Kalighat in Kolkata and Nandakumar in East Midnapore district around 11 am on Monday, 2020-05-04.
With effect from 2020-05-04 even while Lockdown 3.0 started, liquor shops in orange and green zones throughout India were allowed to start selling liquor at government approved premium over and above the MRP. Business was supposed to be conducted maintaining physical/ social distancing norms during specific business hours.
