ASI Ratan Roy, Ranaghat PS shot two of the dacoits who raided Senco Gold & Diamonds on 2023-08-29

A gang of dacoits raided the outlet of Senco Gold and Diamond at Rathtala Rail Gate, Ranaghat, Nadia district, West Bengal on Tuesday 2023-08-29 at around 2.45 pm. While two of the gang members kept watch outside the shop, the others entered the double storied store for looting. 

The employee responsible for CCTV surveillance immediately called Ranaghat Police Station for help. Within 10 minutes Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ratan Roy armed with a rusty revolver along with 4 constables and the driver of his vehicle reached the spot where the dacoits were. The gang members on noticing the policemen started firing indiscriminately from their firearms. 

ASI Ratan Roy, a 50+ portly man of 102 kgs chased the dacoits on foot nd started firing from his dated firearm. He successfully shot two dacoits on their legs. A lot of cash and jewellery could be recovered from the incapacitated dacoits. 

A live video of Ashoke Roy chasing and shooting the dacoits while the fleeing dacoits were trying to shoot the ASI were recorded with a mobile camera by the resident of an apartment.

Anal Biswas of Ranaghat has diligently worked for 3 yrs to share stage with PM Narendra Modi

Anal Biswas (in yellow kurta on Modiji's right) from Ranaghat, Nadia district, West Bengal is a very hard working healthcare sector support professional with limited means but high integrity.

He is an extremely close associate of mine for over two decades.
He commutes Ranaghat - Kolkata (Alipore) - Ranaghat (85 kms each way) daily for work in overcrowded trains and buses.

Since the past 3 yrs, he has been working for nights together and traveling throughout West Bengal campaigning for BJP/ Modiji for a clean and modern Bharat (India).
He has already made a mark in the party and had shared stage with Amit Shah amongst other top leaders in BJP.

Modiji was in Ranaghat in the third week of April 2019. I am overwhelmed to see Anal sharing the stage with Modiji while campaigning for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 candidate from Ranaghat Lok Sabha constituency.
