📍 নয়াদিল্লি/কলকাতা: ভোটার তালিকা সংশোধন সংক্রান্ত SIR প্রক্রিয়াকে ঘিরে অশান্তির অভিযোগ সামনে আসতেই পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশের ভারপ্রাপ্ত ডিজিকে শোকজ করল সুপ্রিম কোর্ট। প্রধান বিচারপতির বেঞ্চ নির্দেশ দিয়েছে, বিষয়টি নিয়ে ব্যক্তিগত হলফনামা জমা দিতে হবে তাঁকে।

⚖️ কেন এই নির্দেশ?

• নির্বাচন কমিশনের অভিযোগ—SIR প্রক্রিয়ায় যুক্ত কর্মীদের ভয় দেখানো ও বাধা দেওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটেছে।

• কয়েক জায়গায় ভাঙচুর ও আধিকারিকদের হুমকির অভিযোগও আদালতে তুলে ধরা হয়।

• অভিযোগ অনুযায়ী, কিছু ক্ষেত্রে এফআইআর দায়ের হয়নি বলেও দাবি।

👮‍♂️ আদালতের অবস্থান

• পরিস্থিতির ব্যাখ্যা দিতে পুলিশের শীর্ষ কর্তাকে কারণ দর্শাতে বলা হয়েছে।

• শোকজের জবাবে কী ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়া হয়, এখন সেদিকেই নজর।

• আদালত স্পষ্ট করেছে—প্রক্রিয়ায় কোনও বাধা সহ্য করা হবে না।

🗳️ SIR নিয়ে নির্দেশ

• চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার দায়িত্ব নির্বাচনী আধিকারিকদের উপরই থাকবে।

• যাচাই প্রক্রিয়া সম্পূর্ণ করতে অতিরিক্ত সময় দেওয়ার কথাও জানানো হয়েছে।

⚠️ প্রেক্ষাপট

• গত বছরের নভেম্বর থেকে রাজ্যে SIR কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়েছে।

• শুরু থেকেই এই প্রক্রিয়া নিয়ে রাজনৈতিক চাপানউতোর চলেছে।

• শুনানি পর্বে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় উত্তেজনার খবর সামনে আসে।

Summary of Supreme Court happenings regarding WB SIR 2026 on 2026-02-09

আজকের (2026-02-09) সুপ্রিম কোর্টে SIR মামলা: আসল সারমর্ম

আজ সুপ্রিম কোর্টে SIR (Special Intensive Revision) মামলার শুনানি নিয়ে নানা কথা হবে, নানা “বিশ্লেষণ” আসবে।

কিন্তু কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সত্য ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে বলা হচ্ছে না। সেগুলো একবার পরিষ্কার করে নেওয়া দরকার।

🔹 ১. সুপ্রিম কোর্ট স্পষ্ট বলেছে—SIR হবেই। এটাকে থামানো যাবে না।

🔹 ২. রাজ্য সরকারকে ৪/২/২৬ তারিখের মধ্যে অফিসারদের তালিকা দেওয়ার কথা ছিল।

আজ পর্যন্ত সেই তালিকা রাজ্য সরকার দেয়নি।

🔹 ৩. ECI একটি quasi-judicial body।

তাই তারা এমন অফিসার চেয়েছিল, যাদের শুনানি নিয়ে আদেশ দেওয়ার অভিজ্ঞতা আছে।

অদ্ভুতভাবে রাজ্য সরকার সেই ধরনের অফিসার দেয়নি / দিতে পারেনি।

🔹 ৪. রাজ্য সরকার যে অফিসারদের দিয়েছে, তাদের বেশিরভাগেরই quasi-judicial কাজের কোনো অভিজ্ঞতা নেই।

🔹 ৫. Micro Observer-দের ভূমিকা খুব সীমিত। শুনানির প্রথম দিন থেকে ECI এটা বলেছে এবং আজকেও আবার বলেছে যে MO রা শুধু ERO-দের সাহায্য করে। এই আদেশের  পিছনে চাল চোরদের নেত্রীর কোন অবদান নেই। 

👉 কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার ক্ষমতা তাদের নেই।

⚖️ সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আজকের নির্দেশাবলি (সংক্ষেপে):

✔️ রাজ্য সরকারকে বলা হয়েছে—

আজ দেওয়া ৮,৫৫৫ জন Group-B অফিসারকে বিকেল ৫টার মধ্যে DRO-দের কাছে রিপোর্ট করতে হবে।

✔️ ECI-র পূর্ণ স্বাধীনতা থাকবে

—প্রয়োজনে ERO / AERO বদলানো বা যোগ্য হলে আগেরদেরই কাজে লাগানো যাবে।

✔️ নতুন রাজ্য সরকারি অফিসারদের ১–২ দিনের সংক্ষিপ্ত প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে Micro Observer হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

✔️ চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন শুধুমাত্র ERO।

Micro Observer বা রাজ্য সরকারি অফিসাররা শুধু সহায়তা করবেন।

✔️ নতুন অফিসার যুক্ত হওয়ায়,

📅 ১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারির পরে আরও ১ সপ্তাহ সময় দেওয়া হয়েছে

—ডকুমেন্ট স্ক্রুটিনি ও সিদ্ধান্তের জন্য।

✔️ সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ—

🚨 রাজ্যের DGP-কে ব্যক্তিগত হলফনামা দিতে বলা হয়েছে,

কারণ ECI অভিযোগ করেছে SIR অফিসারদের বিরুদ্ধে

হুমকি, ভয় দেখানো ও হিংসা রোখা যায়নি।
