One Mrs Vijayalakshmi Pandit, a tourist from the mainland in India and her husband narrowly escaped the Baisaran terror attack on 2025-04-22. It was sheer luck that she severely hurt a finger on her legs while on her way to the beautiful spot riding a pony. The couple decided to return and that was when she heard unusual noise multiple times. The pony operator said that it was noise from balloons being burst. The couple was not fully convinced by the ponywala's narrative. Suddenly they saw people rushing down the rocky path and it was those tourists who warned them about the terror attack. The pony operator asked Vijayalakshmi Pandit to wipe off the vermilion from her forehead. The pony operator also asked her husband to keep rattling the Kalma. The three had not even reached the terror attack spot. How did the pony operator know that the husband would be spared if he could rattle the Kalma. How did he know that only men might be targeted? Many questions remain unanswered!
