In Hingalganj, North 24 Parganas district on Tuesday, 2012-11-29 she openly reprimanded government officials. She supposedly had Hingalganj to distribute winter clothings. 

She kept sitting for 20 minutes till such time the items for free distribution arrived from the BDO's office. 

Panchayat election is to be held soon while her heavyweight netas are in jail on charges of unprecedented corruption.  

In 2021 she faked fracture of her legs to gain sympathy votes.
