পরে অবশ্য মোফাক্কেরুল কলকাতায় চলে যান, স্ত্রী-সন্তানদের নিয়ে তিনি সেখানেই থাকেন, কলকাতা হাইকোর্টের কাছে তাঁর চেম্বার, হাইকোর্টে মামলাও লড়েন

২০২১ সালে বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের আগে তিনি এমআইএম বা অল ইন্ডিয়া মজলিস-ই-ইত্তেহাদুল মুসলিমীন নামের দলে যোগ দেন যার চেয়ারম্যান আসাদউদ্দিন ওয়েইসি, সেই নির্বাচনেই এমআইএম বা মিমের হয়ে ইটাহার বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রে প্রার্থী হয়েছিলেন মোফাক্কেরুল, সেই সময় তাঁর হয়ে ইটাহারে সভাও করেছিলেন ওয়েইসি

যদিও ওই নির্বাচনে বিশেষ দাগ কাটতে পারেননি মোফাক্কেরুল, ভোটে তো গোহারা হেরেইছিলেন, খুইয়েছিলেন জামানতও, জুটেছিল মাত্র ৮৩১টি ভোট, সেই মোফাক্কেরুলকেই বুধবার রাতে কালিয়াচকে ছোট যাত্রিবাহী গাড়ির মাথায় দাঁড়িয়ে হ্যান্ডমাইক হাতে অবরোধকারীদের উস্কানি দিতে দেখা গিয়েছিল 

এরপরেই কালিয়াচক থানায় মোফাক্কেরুলের বিরুদ্ধে ৩টি ভভিযোগ দায়ের হয় যার জেরে আজ বাগডোগরায় গ্রেফতার হয়েছে সে

YouTuber cum Adv Mofakkerul Islam, has been arrested from Bagdogra airport while trying to flee from WB to Bangalore in a 11.40 am Indigo Airlines flight on Friday 2026-04-03. 

On 2026-04-01 at around 5 pm, he had instigated his lungi vahini to lay seize on NH12 and the nearby BDO office where 7 judicial officials appointed by Supreme Court of India were working on the SIR 2026 process. Mofakkerul personally instigated the mob while standing on the top of a van. The judges were held captive for almost 9 hours and could be evacuated at around 2 am by the central forces. 

An arrest warrant was issued by the ECI on 2026-04-02. 

I have been following the rogue YouTuber cum Adv Mofakkerul Islam since the past 3 - 4 years or more. He used to travel extensively by train, air and road. He used to stay in expensive hotels. Most of his clients were petty Bengali Muzlim criminals working as labourers in KL, KA, TN, TS, MH, etc. I used to wonder who pays for his expenses. 

He used to get them released on bail and post long FaBo/ YT videos. His tone invariably used to be that of a messiah. 

Little wonders that he easily gathered a huge crowd of sliced organs in Kaliachak/ Mothabari on Wednesday 2026-04-01. 

UAPA should be slapped on him. He shouldn't be awarded bail  ..... never ever. 

Ideally he should be handed over to UP police.

Moradabad riots of May 2011 - 16 Muslim rioters sentenced to life imprisonment on 2026-03-28

When Police DIG was lynched!!

On July 6, 2011, a Muslim mob spread the fake narrative of disrespect towards a religious book in Mainather, Moradabad, UP.          

They ransacked a police outpost, set vehicles on fire, thrashed police men and Hindus.  

The fanatic mob of 500 jihadis surrounded Ashok Kumar Singh, who was serving as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in Moradabad at the time, and attacked him with rods, swords and sticks.   They looted his pistol. 

 They thought that he was dead and left him. He sustained multiple injuries including eight fractures to his hands, shoulder, and ribs. He remained in hospital for 10 days and underwent medical treatment for nearly six months thereafter.   

Ms Mayawati was the Chief Minister.     

For 10 hours, that day, police personnel fought pitched battles with hundreds of Muslim villagers who poured in from other parts of  Moradabad district and also from neighbouring Rampur, Sambhal and Amroha.    

The accused set fire to a police jeep right inside the Mainather police station. With the specific intent of escalating the unrest, the Muslim rioters first assaulted people passing through the area.     

Hindus, in particular, were being singled out and targeted.  

Witnessing this, passing Hindus began abandoning their vehicles and fleeing. The travelers were left utterly helpless.   

On 28 March 2026 (after 15 years) a local court in Moradabad sentenced 16 rioters to life imprisonment in connection with the preplanned violence.   

The names of the anti-nationals are Manzoor Ahmed, Mohammad Ali, Hashim, Mohammad Kamrul, Mohammad Mujif, Mohammad Yunus, Rizwan, Anwar, Firoz, Kamrul, Mobin, Parvez, Mujib, Tahzeeb, and Jane Alam.

No person professing a religion other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism can be regarded as a member of a Scheduled Caste

The Supreme Court on Tuesday 2026-03-24 said that no person professing a religion other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism can be regarded as a member of a Scheduled Caste.

A bench of Justices Prashant Kumar Mishra and NV Anjaria, upholding an order of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, said that a person belonging to a Scheduled Caste community loses his SC status immediately and completely upon conversion to another religion.

"No statutory benefit, protection or reservation or entitlement under the Constitution or enactment of Parliament or state legislature can be claimed by or extended to any person who, by operation of clause 3, is not deemed to be a member of the Scheduled Caste.

"This bar is absolute and admits no exceptions. A person can't simultaneously profess and practice a religion other than the one specified in clause 3 and claim membership of the Scheduled Caste," the bench said.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court, on April 30, 2025, held that once an individual converts to Christianity and actively professes and practices the faith, he cannot be regarded as a member of the Scheduled Caste community.

The high court has held that the caste system is alien to Christianity and is consequently barred from invoking the provisions of the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

It quashed charges filed by a complainant who had converted to Christianity and had invoked the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in a criminal case.

Aggrieved by the order, the man, a pastor, moved the apex court, challenging the high court decision.

The top court noted that the Constitution (Scheduled Caste) Order, 1950, has made it clear that conversion to any religion not specified in Clause 3 of the 1950 order results in immediate loss of Scheduled Caste status, regardless of birth, and this bar was "absolute".
