Inebriated law student ran over people in Vadodara on 2025-03-14 night

A woman was killed and four others were injured after a speeding car hit several two-wheelers in Vadodara, Gujarat. The car was being driven by 23 years old law student, identified as Rakshit Chaurasiya. His friend, the actual owner of the VW Virtus was sitting next to him when the accident took place.

The accident occurred around 12:30 am on Friday 2025-03-14 near Muktanand crossroads in the Karelibaug area. 

Rakshit Chaurasiya, the young man driving the car, was thrashed by locals and handed over to police. Chaurasiya and his friend were arrested. 

Rakshit hails from Varanasi where his father is in the business of manufacturing plumbing items while his mother is a housewife.

Holi is celebrated only once a year. Friday prayer is offered every week for all 52 weeks in a year. 

If a muzlim is adamant that he would offer Friday prayer before 2 pm on 2025-03-14, he should offer prayer at home and avoid going to the mosque to save himself from Holi revellers.
